Hdd cooling

I've got a bunch of disks in a case running as a server in an Corsair 550d. Decent enough case, two intake fans blowing directly onto the hdds and one exhaust fan by the CPU.

I've recently installed some smart monitoring stuff and a few of the drives are running at 45oC, which isn't far off the recommended max of 55.

Am I likely to see any issues if they continue to run at this temp? The server is on 24/7, and whilst the obvious thing to do is to get a better case with better cooling, I'm wondering what other options I might have? Bearing in mind the case is full (13 HDDs), and so in the drive caddies there isn't a huge amount of space between the disks, but enough for air to flow over them.

I'm sure I read that 45C is the optimum temp for a HDD,maybe on that big Seagate survey that was done?

Anywhere between 30 and 40 is safe for sure so I wouldn't worry too much about 45,are they always on at that temp?
