1) replace the PCB from an identical drive (obviously only works if the PCB is faulty)
2) you may be able to get it recovered fairly cheap (200 - 700) last time i got a quote I guess the lower end is for something easy like a faulty pcb
not likey to work however worth a try
1) different PSU
2) remove the PCB clean any connections and replace it
3) heat it up with a hair dryer
4) lob it in a plastic bag wrapped in a bit of bog roll and stick it in the freezer till its really cold (but dont freeze it)
im assuming you have not put a cable the wrong way round or have a faulty power connector...
There was a nice chap on here that had the kit to recover them and did it very cheap - you would have to search the posts I guess unless someone can remember who it was.
