Hdd fail

I have a Sammy hdd that's just started clicking and slow working so am sending it back to ******, but as I only built the rig a week I ago havnt backed anything up.

I have a oem windows 7. Will I be able to use the same disc?.

Yes, generally a hard disk change will not cause a reactivation, motherboard or cpu and even memory might. If so you just tell microsoft you had a failure and it will be OK.

It will cause reactivation if that Samsung hdd was his only one though and he needs to reinstall from scratch on its replacement
