HDD Help!

Hi all.

Recieved this system today (great service) all is good apart from one problem.

I opted for the upgrade to the 40GB Intel SSD, and Windows is installed on this, but the other hard drive (Seagate Barracuda 500GB) is not showing as being connected.

When I started up Windows, it asked me did I want to change to AHCI because one device was not functioning, and when I said yes, it would not boot into Windows. What should this be set at? I have it set to Normal IDE in the bios, other options are Raid and AHCI.

Or is there something else the matter?

What's Disk Management saying about the Seagate drive? Right click on My Computer and pick Manage.

Got it sorted. Disk needed formatted (whoops) and reset the AHCI setting to normal IDE. All good.

Now I just have to figure out how to make my documents etc and programs install to the Seagate drive and not the SSD!

Right click on my documents in the start menu, click properties and click move in properties window.
