HDD installation problems...Help needed!

OK, so I've almost finished building my new system but I've encountered a problem. So I'm using a 64GB Crucial M4 SSD for OS and a 1TB Samsung F3 HDD. The problem is, after installing W7 on the SSD (in ACHI mode), the computer loads perfectly well, but it is not recognising the HDD as being connected (it's not there in 'Computer'). So, what to do?

Is it a new disc? If so you will have to initialise it first in /Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Computer Management/Storage/Disk Management

Once you're in disk management right click the HDD and format/partition it then it will appear.
