HDD kaput

My current HDD has died on me (clicks and whirrs and says OS not found) I'm planning on getting an SSD, probably https://www.overclockers.co.uk/king...solid-state-drive-shss37a-120g-hd-084-ks.html
My question is, what would happen to my windows 10 as I upgraded for free? Would I be stuck back on what came with the pc originally or would my windows key allow me to get back on 10?

Your Windows key will/should allow installing on different drive. It's when the motherboard has changed that there can be issues. To avoid the latter, you can now upgrade your Windows copy to a digital license: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/20530/windows-10-reactivating-after-hardware-change
