I'm on the look out for a 2TB HDD for a media pc, just wondering if now is the right time to buy or are prices due to come down any time soon?

Dont want to rush in and spend more than whats needed

Make do with a smaller drive from another rig for now in all honesty.

Way to early too be dishing out on a 2TB drive yet. Unless you have a very large collection already ... the price will drop further well before you fill a 2TB drive brought now. The big debate.. of course... is how far it will drop and when :)

You can always copy/clone it over as your collection grows.

I've currently got an external 2TB drive that is now full.

I was thinking of getting an internal drive to replace the external one. If I was to buy a 2TB internal, how much would I be able to get for an external one?

Its a WD Elements drive and I cant see anyway of removing it. If you could help that would be great

You've got to be careful, some external drives aren't like others in the sense that you can just take out the HDD without damaging the shell, some are fused - not sure if I'm using the right term here.
