Just a few questions :)

I am about to use HDD Regenerator on a maxtor 250gb IDE hard drive.

1. How long will it take?

2. Does it scan the hard drive and detect bad sectors and then repair them or does it repair them as it finds it?

3. Is it a stable program or does it crash during testing?

Thank you :)

From what i could find and deduce - it will probably take quite a long time if it works on physical sectors (like low level formatting time) It seems to 'reallign' the data storage area through magnetic reversal. Whether it will actually fix bad sectors will have to be seen. In any case i would personnally back up my data first before trying and the idea or magnetic reversal sounds suspicious to me.

i guess there is only one app called HDD Regenerator?

i used it on my m8's hdd without success (although i think the hdd is physically damaged).

it fixes the baddies as it finds them.

time depends on how bad the hdd is borked.

it found 400+ problems and says it fixed 'em all.
