I need a new hard drive, 500gb-1tb drive but my problem is, where my graphic card (5850) takes up so much room it had to move my hdd so it would fit in but the only room I've got left for another hdd is rite next to the case speaker, if I did put it in there it will only be 1-1.5cm away from the speaker, will the hdd be fine or not?.

Thank you
Chris

Yes should be, HDD's are normally stacked next to each other in the drive bays so if the magnetic shielding is fine with that it should be fine with the case speaker. tbh though you can just unplug the case speaker if it worries you, this is 2010 not 1988 you only need it for error testing now.
