Do I connect it to SATA2 or SATA3?

3 if you've got it but will work fine in 2 also

Either. I reserve SATA3 for SSDs.

If I plug it in SATA3, will I get better speed or it is the same as SATA2?

To be honest, I dont think you'd see any difference with a mechanical disk.

Same as SATA2 more than likely as a standard mechanical can't saturate 600 Gb/s, or even SATA1 ~ 300 Gb/s for that matter.
