I've built a couple of media centre PC's for my sons for Santa to give them. I've used the above motherboard and an Athlon II X4 620 for each of them.
I've installed Windows 7 HP 32bit and all the updates.
I've used a VGA monitor to get them working and before we wrap them up i've been trying to get them to work with my Toshiba 37" LCD via HDMI. I've managed to get Catalyst Control Centre to think the Tosh is there, but I get no picture. The cable I'm using works with my Sky HD box and my own media PC, but nothing from either Asus board. If you've made this board work over HDMI I'd be glad to hear it! The motherboard manual says it should work with VGA plus HDMI.
Windows thinks the desktop is extended, I can set the Screen resolution on the Tosh to the required 1920x1080 @ 60Hz (the same as my media centre uses) but no joy. Oh and I'm using the latest 9.12 CC drivers from AMD. The newest VGA driver on the Asus site takes an age to download but will not unzip, there's a CRC error with one of the files.
Am I missing something? It won't work with the TV as a single screen, even from a cold boot, nor will it work in tandem with the TFT I've used for setting up. Any suggestions gratefully received!

could be a handshake problem with hdmi from the mobo to the tv ... happens with dvd/ blu ray players sometimes .. just wont work 
cant fault teh mobo tbh although it axctually works better since i installed the drivers via windows 7 than when i had it with windows xp ... had random resets for soem reason.. also why are you usign 32 bit when you could have had 64 bit ?
