who is yet to experience proper hdr gaming? For me it’s one of the biggest improvements in Gfx for generations. It really is that good; you’re in for a treat if you’ve not experienced it yet!

Nope, I haven't seen it. To this day I still haven't seen a 3D movie/game either. What's that old saying? You don't miss something you've never had.

I don't expect to get a 4K/HDR TV until the next gen of consoles come out.

I have HDR on the TV. I've watched HDR content on it. It does nothing for me.

HDR photos are amazing, HDR videos not.

I'm very happy to be corrected if I've been watching the wrong stuff. I consider myself a videophile but this is one thing that just doesn't blow me away.

HDR on my screen just dims the colour dramatically?
Was driving me nuts for ages thinking the brightness was down only to notice HDR was activated. Turned it off, all back to. Normal again

Yeah, I have a Samsung TV with HDR and I don't see the wow factor everyone bangs on about.

Games and films do look clearer but that could be because of the 4K and not the HDR......i don't really know.

What TVs do you guys have?

HDR is a big improvement for me. Games that support it well look great. A lot depends on your TV too cheaper non 10 bit TV's really do not do HDR justice.

Surprising. What sources are you using for the HDR content and what games have you played?

See the following:

Stranger Things - hardly any difference. The clouds on HDR actually look worse.

Windows before and after. Total disaster of colour

Destiny 2. The HDR photo actually makes it look OK. On screen you can't tell wtf is in the darkness.

I’ve seen £2k TVs that blow my mind with the colours and general quality. Then there is my £350 hisense. Very good but not even close to a proper high end tv.

But we're talking about HDR specifically. Just an OLED panel will amaze with it's colour range. I've not seen much improvement when HDR is switched on, and in some cases it just looks worse.

I would have a look at your TV setup tbh..
