Heads up - tickets just released, including track cycling

Yup loads of things up there now, sadly the website is being a pita. Both me and my brother trying to buy stuff with no luck - been saying my wait is 15 minutes for the last 10 minutes now.

that confused me at first until I saw it said "15 minutes or more"

Sadly no luck yet for me with getting track cycling tickets, and looks like most have now sold out too. I don't think there were that many of session tbh

tbh, I am not sure how else they could do this! If everyone hits the site at the same time, the system would not cope. At least this way, you don't have the site crashing.

it is very frustrating waiting 15-20 minutes only be be told there is no tickets, but I suppose all that has happened is someone ahead of you in the queue got there first.

Not really any different to joining the queue at an actual sporting venues (i.e. Wimbledon). There is one long queue, and 10 ticket booths. If you're further back in the queue, you may end up getting to the front to be told everything has been sold!

I just had 4 tickets for the Olympic Stadium on the night that includes the Mens 100M Final in my basket. Clicked through to the next page and they're gone. RAAAAGE.

Did you add them, and then "request tickets", as adding to basket doesn't mean you have tickets..

If you got to the stage where you have actually been assigned seat numbers, then went to pay, and find that they have gone, that's a different story. Happened to me 4 times in a row Monday night!

Anyone going to tickets tonight? Again looks like lots of events have been released! I can in the queue on the website, and also attempting to get though on the phone!

Guy I know has just got an athletics ticket for Sunday evening for £50: 100m men's final......

WOW lucky him. He'll be right at the back of the stadium, but the atmosphere will be amazing!

just got allocated a cat A ticket for tonight's athletics session.. Was very close to actually completing the transaction, but it was £450.. for that, I could buy a decent new monitor

When you click on 'Request Tickets', are they reserved straight away? When I do so, the tickets just stay in the shopping list and it doesn't progress to 'reserved tickets' at the top.

You add tickets to your "shopping list" then click "Request Tickets".. After a possible queue, you may or not been assigned actual seat numbers, and given the opportunity to pay for them. Simply adding to your list doesn't mean you have tickets.

If they isn't any you can still submit the same basket again, as the tickets stay there until you either remove them or your session times out.

I don't know how long I'm supposed to wait while they're in the shopping list though. There doesn't appear to be any indication of a queue. How long before I remove the tickets and try at another price band?

You need to submit your list. There is sometimes a problem (I've had this a few times) where you click "Request Tickets" and you go straight back to your list. If this happens, close the browser and start again.

How do you submit your list? Here's where I get stuck:
SNIP

You click "Request Tickets" that should take you to a screen that either shows your ticket, or a message saying no tickets. If it doesn't, I think it's because or an error, so I've found I had to open a different browser and attempt there, or close everything (and clear cache) and try again

Edit: It could also be because you've added tickets to your list which others can no longer add, as they've sold out. I guess it should still allow you to submit and say no tickets, but hey.
