once the film starts steaming, turn off stealthy, problems should go then.
 
Just noticed this thread, and glad I read it, was liking Netflix before even with its low amout of content, but after changing DNS on 360 and seeing what USA gets I'm gonna keep my sub :D
 
Works great on my Apple TV and my PS3, so my wife is happy now as there was a few things she wanted that weren't on the UK version.
I don't know where I'm going to find the time to watch all this stuff but it feels great knowing that I can.

(PS I've had a login on here for ages but rarely post so thought I'd use it to say a special thanks for this tip, a friend told me about it and i'm pretty sure he got it from OCUK).

There's not a lot they can do about that - in the UK they're competing with UK services and TV networks so the deals they can forge over here are different.
 
this stopped working for me tonite, tried it on xbox and ps3 both wouldnt connect, tested on pc with ff and steathy, loaded the home page but wouldnt load anything else somthing about a proxy?

Still working for me, via PC anyway ...ill have a look at my PS3 later.
 
My PS3 wasnt working, looks as though Unblock-US have been kicking ips off their system that have been on for over 7 days, Ive just signed up for a 7 day trial but I imagine for what it cost ill subscribe to them to get the US content.
 
it was playing up for me again last nite on the us netflix on my xbox, would connect fine on the uk one, tried all sorts of things but then it just started working again?? was very confussed
 
Mine stopped working too, apparently it was a viral advertising for a VPN service in the us. I've grab some more free working ones but not sure how long they will last. A bit annoying but working fine Now for me,watching limitless tonight :-)

May look at buying a VPN service in future if I keep having problems as the uk Netflix is very poor in comparison to the us
 
I've tried both Netflix and I have an unlimited account with LoveFilm. They both fall short due to the audio limitations IMO.

Can't see the point of having a HD stream if you don't get proper multi-channel surround. They need to get this sorted and then I will consider ditching my media server.

Netflix does 5.1 with Dolby digital.
