Heinz Tomato Ketchup... is it just me?

The only thing I know that is crap with Heinz now is the squeezy bottle packaging. It's thinner plastic, doesn't get all of the ketchup out and the plastic cracks if you barely squeeze it more than usual.

HP , reggae, reggae. Ketchup is just sweet yuck.

reggae reggae sauce for the win, i just got some of this stuff from safeway, and i can easily say i wont be using ketchup as my main sauce anymore! :D awesome stuff

Indeed, I LOVE reggae reggae sauce, but it runs out too quickly, and it seems the more I buy at once (like 2-3 bottles), the more I use day to day. So it runs out fast regardless :(

Ketchup is for kids. Adults use brown sauce or gravy. FACT.
I do very much like brown sauce too, but I still like ketchup on my chips :p

Nah, it just seems thicker in a glass bottle than it does in a squeeze bottle becasue it's thixotropic. That means that, in essence, its viscosity varies as a function of time under stress. Look it up, it's interesting chemistry and materials science.
Then why is it that its viscosity has suddenly changed despite me always buying the same squirty bottles for as long as I can remember? :p

I think people who don't like ketchup are wierd as ****. Like when people don't like mushrooms and stuff like that.
Wierd.

Brown sauce = vinegar and poo I think, it's nasty. You can't taste anything but the nasty vinegary brown sauce.

BBQ sauce though, especially reggae reggae, always good with pizza, or fried chicken.

I buy tesco value ketchup in the glass bottle, I find its thicker than heinz and tastes more tomato like.

I don't know about all of you lot, but the last few squeezy bottles of Heinz I bought I swear they have watered down.

I remember ketchup used to be of a moderately thick consistency and now its runny as hell. But only with Heinz, the other brands haven't changed.

Am I the only one who noticed? Or am I just the only person pedantic enough to make a thread about it? :p

Still, I don't like my ketchup to be messed with, what are Heinz playing at?

Yes, and I also noticed they changed the end of the squeezy bottle making it too small, so now too much comes out at once.

I won't be using Heinz again. I switched to proper organic ketchup and the consistency and taste is much better.

I'm convinced (but no on believes me) that the sqeezy bottle thins the ketchup. For example, when you push jelly through your teeth - it runs thinner.

Get a glass bottle! :D

Mushrooms are disgusting. Why anyone would eat a fungus I don't know. next time someone I know has an infection on their foot I'll send them to you
Do you eat beef? If you do, you're more often than not eating tape worm remains. If you're OK with that and not OK with eating a plant, I don't know what to say!

Ahh.. perhaps I wasn't aware that they changed the end like that, perhaps that solves the mystery then lol.

I mainly noticed it being thinner when trying to put it on my hotdog and ended up flooding the thing with ketchup due to the sheer squirt velocity :p

I often eat the dry skin on my feet.
Tell me you are joking lol, otherwise... *vomits*

Nope I would never lie. Infact! I have some hard skin appearing as I'm typing to you. I Think I'll save until later or else I won't eat my dinner.
