US: Helix

I've been wondering the same thing. Right from the start of this season it's felt as though there was a missing finale episode for last season or something.

I assume you are up to date if not then below does contain spoilers

How do you mean killing immortals? We know from season 1 that immortals can be killed as they chopped off their heads and put them in the jars out in the ice. We have also seen that Alan has killed some while hunting for Julia. What we don't know is why, 30 years in the future they are succumbing to the virus.

I don't think there has been a missing episode though. There is a big jump and questions of quite what happened between the end of S1 and start of S2 but seems they are either going to be answered through Alan's flashbacks or Julia is going to have flashbacks / explain what happened since she became an immortal. Either that or it is designed that S1 and S2 are to be almost entirely seperate stories

Is it me or do I seem to have missed an episode somewhere.

I've no idea about killing immortals etc

julia mentioned it in the first episode after being abducted by mister San Jose. Also in series one we have seen immortals get taken out.

On a side note. Its sort of interesting to see how people react when it isn't laid out in front of them as tv shows are so really dumbed down. films also fall for it. sort of thing when some one joins a film 10 mins in and consistantly asks what i have i missed. why are they doing that. whos that. " I don't know. they haven't explained it yet"

I like it when you are kept in the dark so to speak, just the flashbacks in ep1 seemed to include scenes that I had not seen previously which is why I thought I might have missed something, particularly with Alan.

I assume they have just mixed up new character flashbacks with previous series flashbacks to give some sense of continuity?

I might re watch the last episode from last season to be sure.

I did this before it came out, watched the last 3 i think to really remember what was going on as i had blasted it in a day quite a while ago. and yes they have slightly mixed it in but also, so far. there isn't reaalllllyyy much need. at the moment they're sort of can be seen as independent apart from a bit of character history

Reading the comments on here I might give up on it. I'm about 3 episodes into the first season atm :(. Hard to find anything decent to watch that I haven't already seen.

finish off the first season. its not long and is rather entertaining

just watched the latest, im enjoying this season quite a lot actually

I loved the first season, I must admit I'm struggling with this one...in fact if it wasn't for Jordan Hayes I'd probably have switched off by now.

Yeah I thought season 2 was coming around and a few pieces started to fall into place but after the last episode its weird on top of weird
