You have to be careful with a number of items, the motor is just as bad if you are in an area of mobs, same with other turrents.

I am using the laser 1 at the moment (unlocked it last night)

Mortar is fine - if you stay away from mobs but yeah.. you might but your team probably wont. I only use mortar in friend groups tbh

There's an incendiary version which has more ammo but far less damage output and range. I was seriously disappointed by it!

Yeah i tried one that somebody dropped and it was worse than the standard, huge spread and less range and damage.

Anything that kills you and your teammates in hilarious fashion must be used at all times. I'm especially fond of 360mm HE Barrage

I hate Mortars, i disapprove of my team mates using them

my play stile is full Rambo so i get swamped a lot, i can handle that if not for the friendly Mortars raining down on me....

I always have my revenge with my misbehaving guard dog tho, Good... i mean bad dog.... bad dog.

Both mortars pair up nicely together, in the defend missions they are totally op.

Finding bugs so much harder than automatons. Unlocked suicide mission difficulty on automatons but bugs are so challenging. I think its as we dont have railguns yet and only one orbital laser due to level restrictions. Running into multiple bile titans feels like a nightmare.

I just run around for 5 minutes hoping they give up trying to catch me, they don't.

at which point i just bring them to you, because i'm nice like that

Railgun, unsafe mode, 2 shots to a leg and if its still alive finish it off with your primary all while running and diving for your life.

Only level 4, but tried a bot mission for the 1st time on medium.
I was not expecting tanks!

Made it out of that mission by the skin of our teeth.
Going back to the bugs for now.

If you're low level the Expendable Anti-Tank is really good against heavies and has a low cool down

Fairly impressive that they mostly resolved the server issues as quickly as they did.

Decided to re buy of a key site and it worth the £26 odd I paid for it.

Played a few hours and am up to level 8 now.

And two per drop pod! Im lvl 20 and still use these regularly
