Seriously just got zapped by my own tesla tower and there wasn't an enemy in range, only 1 in sight and that was miles off... and I wasn't even that close to the turret.

EDIT: Shuttle took off at 6 seconds left... wtf... causing 3 of us to fail to extract LOL and multiple stim failures :( game really does fall apart at times. Hate games where stim/healing is interruptible and/or only works at the end of the animation as it leaves things to susceptible to internet connection conditions, etc. :(

You have the worst luck possible where this games concerned. I’ve 40 odd hours in the game and not experienced a fraction of the issues you’ve had.
I’d not bother with the lottery numbers if I were you!

I had an issue last night where when pressing the CTRL key for the stims nothing happened and all it would display in the top left was the reinforcement icon.

This appeared regardless of me holding down CTRL or not.

Had to close the game down to sort the issue

LOL I just spawned in a game in progress, instantly killed by environment, respawned and died because I couldn't run - not showing slowed or anything just my character running like in mud, respawned killed by another player and I have no idea how/why as they were halfway across the map, quit out.

Probably not helping I'm playing on 4G as the FTTC is deciding it is going to disconnect every 20-30 minutes :( though getting a 26ms average ping without too much fluctuation on the 4G.
4g, aww boke. that'll likely be accounting for a lot of your weird shenanigans!
 
He is. He used to have random crazy issues in Eve Online and other games back in the day, no-one else every experienced some of these oddities!

Most of the problems I've had, aren't unprecedented, though not always everyone's experience. I think it is only Eve, BF4 and this game though really. Though I tend to demand a lot of game mechanics. I do seem to be unlucky in experiencing bugs which are quite rare in games though :(
 
Ha excellent, some guy just tried team killing me at the extraction. It was only me and him and he was rank 6, I'd given him my Railgun to help clear the heavy bots, the ship lands and I got on. He typed something but it was all starred out then aimed at me sat down and defenceless on the ship, charged up, overloaded it and blew himself up.

The game immediately ended and he couldn't kick until I was back on the ship :cry:
 
And another instance of being slowed for no reason, meanwhile one of the other people on the team lost the ability to use their support weapon (it just vanished while they were still alive and they couldn't pickup another one even after dying).

EDIT: Way too many things failing today - called in reinforcement and then it switched to grenades for no apparent reason so when I tried to fire I almost killed myself with the impact grenade, far too many failed stim and reloads... failed dodges, etc. etc.

Think some of the problem is people on lower spec PCs and/or playing with stuff running making their PC semi-busy other than the game, etc. as I've had several missions playing with people I know have good hardware and/or PS5 where it has been fine.

Interesting video on Helldivers lore theory and a little of the personality of the developer, Arrowhead Game Studios.

This might not be just some fairly narrow focused little game, it might have scope for a lot of expansion.

 
Tiring getting super samples.

Fighting automatons is just not fun, plus the rocket devastator is up there as one of the most obnoxious enemies in computer games history with cliff racers and sniper jackels.

Automatons, just immersion breaking at the moment, 1 shot you through walls check, 1 shot from 200 meters away check, Infinite ammo check, 5 second rocket reload check, patrol teleport spawn behind you 5 metres away check, glitch through walls check, spawn rape you check, poor collision detection, with shots going right thought them no damage check, obnoxious mission debuffs check.


I am sure I have missed a few and that’s only on level 7. Feels like a beta fighting them at the moment and I have no intention of fighting them until they are patched. Feels the devs are just trolling us with them at the moment.

Bugs are not perfect but they are far more enjoyable and less immersion breaking.
 
I find the opposite. Bugs are far more frustrating to fight whilst constantly surrounded, getting hit by enemies staggering you preventing aiming. Whilst Bots feel far more tactical and easier to deal with.

Tesla towers shoot everything. You have to crawl tk not get targeted
 
Done the daily today getting the couple of tanks. Have to nod at some automaton frustrations above. This new storm that disrupts stratagems should also affect the robots. They also seem to have no issue with the fog shooting from very long distances. The smoke, gas alternative items should get more thought into how they can negate this so hopefully see some tweaks.
 
I don't find the automatons that fun either, bugs I mostly have no problem working them so as to stay in open space when the game is working as intended.

FFS Getting fed up with the amount of times dodge is failing when trying to avoid Bile Spewers now, it is like the game has already decided you are dead and prevents you avoiding it.

EDIT: Think I'm going to have to drop back to playing hard difficulty - last couple of days been playing impossible or higher and you are having to use things like dive/dodge and/or going prone to put out flames, stims, etc. far more often which is exposing when things don't work as expected far more often :( and makes it frustrating. At least with hard you can mostly sit back and take your time.

New patch with balance changes to the weather effects. Less change of being fragged by a meteor from out of nowhere

I'm still enjoying this although playing it a lot less than at the start. It's still great to grab for a short session and still get a lot out of it. Also nice to login and be given a load of medals from the major objectives for free.

Overview For this patch, we have implemented:
  • Fixes to the EXO-45 Patriot exosuit, game stats, UI, and general stability.
  • Balance improvements for planetary hazards and patrol spawns.
Balancing
  • Balanced and adjusted spawn rates for the various planet hazards including tremors, meteor showers, volcanic activity, fire tornados, and ion storms. Hazards should now spawn less frequently during missions.
  • Meteor Shower has received the following changes in addition to reduced spawn rate:
Reduced explosion radius Reduced meteor damage slightly Reduced meteor velocity slightly Meteor color has been changed slightly to try and make it easier to spot.
  • Volcanic Activity has received the following changes in addition to reduced spawn rate:
Reduced explosion radius Reduced rock velocity slightly
  • Lighting on Fenrir III has been adjusted to be a bit less bright to improve visibility during meteor showers.
Fixes
  • Reduced incidents of patrols spawning on players.
  • Exosuit no longer destroys itself when firing a missile while turning .
  • Exosuit retains its melee functionality, even when damaged.
  • Crash fixes for the following scenarios
When ALT+Tabbing in fullscreen mode After changing voice over language PS5 boot issue Using a stim inside of an Exosuit while wielding a grenade When joining an ongoing mission When idling on the title screen
  • Shots from arc-based weapons, such as 'Blitzer' shotgun and 'AC-3 Arc Thrower' stratagem now count towards "Shots fired" and "Shots hit" stats.
  • Fixed network desync issue with downed Automaton dropships.
  • Fixed Elgato Stream Deck Foot Pedal support.
Known Issues
These are issues that were either introduced by this patch and are being worked on, or are from a previous version and have not yet been fixed.
  • Various issues involving friend invites and cross-play:
Cross-platform friend invites might not show up in the Friend Requests tab. Players cannot unfriend other players befriended via friend code. Players cannot unblock players that were not in their Friends list beforehand. Players cannot befriend players with Steam names shorter than 3 characters.
  • Hellpod steering close to large or important objects is currently not functioning as intended, resulting in steering being disabled in a large area around the object.
  • Online features are not functioning when console language is set to Ukrainian.
  • Players may be unable to select loadout when joining a multiplayer via an activity card.
  • Planet liberation reaches 100% at the end of every Defend mission.
  • Drowning in deep water with a Vitality Booster equipped puts Helldiver in a broken state.
  • Exosuits will sometimes be delivered in a damaged or broken state.
  • Stratagem beam might attach itself to an enemy but it will deploy to its original location.
  • Pink artifacts may appear in the sky when setting off large explosions.
  • Text chat box display is obstructed by the cinematic letterboxing during extraction.
  • Sometimes the player’s loadout customizations will reset after restarting the game.
