There is some really nice stuff so far but it depresses me how important things like emojis are to people. They are quite literally the most pointless banal things going.

so they are becoming a software company... no hardware...pathetic. Interestingly didn't they criticse MS for being software whereas Apple was a hardware company that made software... what a let down. Nothing that major.

That XPS or surface pro look more tempting by the day.

Loads of good stuff as usual - no other company can really compete across all four platforms (especially without compromising your privacy).

Why would anyone expect new hardware? Was there any last year?

Good points of me:

Apple Pay on Mac
Siri on Mac along with the Siri SDK
WatchOS 3 - As a wheelchair user the new ability to use the health tracking actually makes me want to buy an Apple Watch now.

You're always going to see some people whine about the WWDC... Unfortunately, the rumours regarding the Macbooks only fuel the hope of hardware announcements - But you have to remember WWDC is primarily a software conference - The hardware comes a little later on in the year.

I thought it was great to be honest... The features to macOS make me jealous that I am back to running Windows again.

Not sure what i was expecting but a lot of it seemed to be guff filler (iMessage/emojis) and nothing overly 'special'.
Although, the new photos app and ability to automatically create videos seemed pretty impressive, from a tech POV, and it'd be nice to have a play around with that (see if it works that well in public).

Although it was fairly cringe worthy in parts (iMessage, Music app segment etc), almost Ballmer-esque , and the crowd seem pretty damn bored in places, having to be encouraged to clap.

Anyone know when new hardware will be released?

...(especially without compromising your privacy)..

...the FBI found a way in :p
