The only time they felt like they weren't in their comfort zone is on track after many laps. I would never run the PSC2 on anything other than a track only car, and certainly wouldn't fit them to a road car that would be driven in cold/rain. I have the MPSS on my M3 and for me, that is the perfect balance between feel, handling and all weather grip. Sport Cup tyres at 70mph in the pouring rain would be scary I've got Yokohama AD08R tyres on the Cooper and they're great in the dry and not bad in the wet but not something I'd want to run my primary car on.
For 99.99% of drivers, the AS2/AS3 offer an excellent all round performance tyre at an excellent price.
