the drive in question is not a boot drive.
so, the computer decided it needed to run chkdsk which it got to 9% then bootoed up, then when add so rebooted and again check disk to 9% then booted up.
drive can be seen by windows but only as RAW, the file system is gone so a corrupted boot record i thought. so i ran testdisk, and it eventually seemed to find something then on finishing it said it found nothing. currently running Yodot recovery but its going VERY slowly.
in short any help any suggestions, any programmes that are good, anything really.
