Glad you got it sorted :) and glad I had read a thread or two with the same problem (just different GPU's).

I had that virus with the same symptoms. I could not get rid of it it kept coming back even after I removed it blocked it etc. In the end I formatted and re-loaded and have not yet had anymore problems. Its a right pain in the butt.

Works fine if you stay away from dodgy backalley sites I spose lawl, does the job.

Anyway, going off-topic..

Believe me you don't need to stay away from those if you use it. ;)

A lot of these sites actually have very good virus protection as there is often money involved and in their interests to stay virus free. You are more likely to find a virus on more mainstream sites where no money is involved.

It is good practice to reformat and reload your software regularly, this gets rid of all sorts of rubbish including viruses.

It's better practice to run a clean and tight system, then you don't have to.
My Win7 install is nearly 2 years old and is still going strong and is as fast as ever.
Any temporary apps I need I run in a VM.
