[Help] Hardrive problem when formatting?

Like i said it is a suggestion. It might take 10 other tries to find the right one. I will try to assist, but u gotta try out some possibilities as well.

Do you still have the driver cd and if so what are the folders on it.

I need a username and password to download it. Not going to happen.

The driver is three years old as well.

Could it be a hardrive fault?

Could be a faulty drive I guess.

The Seagate Disc Wizard Starter Edition that was linked to earlier in this thread, runs off a bootable floppy or CD, not from within Windows. Worth checking the disc with that before you return it.

Thanks for that.

I ran that, and it gives me any error saying it cannot be formatted. So I take it that is most likely a dodgy drive?
