Hi,

I have a gigabyte ab350 gaming 3 motherboard and I've just purchased a Liteon CX2-8B256-Q11 nvme m.2 ssd that I intend to use for the OS. I'm pretty new to m.2 ssd's, will it be straightforward to do or will I need to find drivers etc? Has anyone already done this that could help? A step by step guide would be great!

Many thanks,
Steve.

Like mentioned above, its basically a straight forward thing to do, when you go through the windows installation set up it will detect any drives and then select your relevant one :)

Ah simples! thanks!

Once you are set up and windows is installed and updated, download and install the latest chipset drivers, then your gpu drivers, then your Liteon CX2-8B256-Q11 nvme m.2 ssd drivers. Should be good from then on.

I want to use it as a boot drive with windows 10 on it. I'll have to wait and see if it shows up or if I need to find drivers but I can't currently find any.

You won't need any drivers to actually install Win10 on the drive. But once Win10 is installed, if Liteon supply a driver for it, install the driver. If they don't, just leave as is and carry on using the Win10 driver.
