hey guys.
just got a new pc.

i7 2600 (3.4 ghz)
8 gigs ram
GTX 560ti
(gaming at 1366x768)

ect ect.

games i've tried so far:

Mafia 2 demo. rather good, can pick it up retail £10.

tried to play the crysis demo, pre retail release version.

struggled with it control wise, been 6 years since i used M + K

i want to know in the full game can you toggle the crouch to "stay crouched" rather than you having to keep your finger on the crouch button?
no where in the demo gives this option and i dont want to buy the full game only for this problem to pee me off big time lol.
also are there extra graphics settings in the full game? im not sure the demo supports direct X 10 / 11 ?

I was also considering buying F1 2010. or should i wait for F1 2011 ?
I'm desperate for a driving game :)

and last of all does Fear 3 and Deus X fully support the Xbox360 control pad?

sorry for all the questions but i would appreciate some replys :)

You need a new monitor pronto!

Also, witcher 2, mass effect series, dragon age are good games. Original crysis supports 360 pad.

How long have you been out of PC gaming for? I'd just recommend waiting for the Steam Sales and grabbing what you can off there. Try for Just Cause 2, Battlefield:BC2, TF2, and maybe Trackmania United.

+1 to what Paulc35 said also try:

Shogun 2, Starcraft 2, Dawn of war II for Real time strategy games.

Battlefield 3 should be out soon.

Half life 2 a its an oldish game but an amazing one.

Team fortress 2 great online shooter its free to play.

Portal 1/2.

Play both Mass Effects with keyboard+mouse simple to play and brilliant games should get you used to it then.

ok cheers guys.

i think the crysis demo must have poor support for a pad.

can anyone confirm you can stay crouched in the crysis by just pressing a button once?

teamfortress 2 you can get for free...

Bf3 will be a great game and your system will run it nice, gfx may not max out but maxing out settings is only to show off to your mates xD

i turn my settings down so you can see better at range.....plus less of the blinding Bloom :/

Get a new monitor imo.

For RTS StarCraft 2 without a doubt.

Online FPS Bad company 2.

RPG go for the witcher 2.

Turn based strat Napolien Total War is my favourite.

There are so many to choose from :)

Try the cinematic mod with HL2 as well. Some people don't like the new character models, but you can choose to use the old models that have been made higher res.
