Help me get this stable!

Daft question, which RAM slots do you have them in? Also have you tried just running one module at a time to see of you have a non compliant module vs a horrid IMC/faulty CPU.
 
I haven't tried different slots to be honest or a single module, I will do that now.

Should I just enable XMP and test that way or fiddle with the timings?

I'd just enable XMP/DOCP and see if you can replicate the results you were seeing previously. Slots A2 & B2 should be the ones you were already using, that is the one nearest the ATX power connector, and the then a gap of one, then the other module. If you've moved them to A1 and B1 and you still havev trouble then using a single module in slot A2 is where to start.
 
I just run MemTest with a single module in slot A2, XMP enabled.

It passed the test.

I’ve swapped the module over now and it is testing.
