Help me pick some new cookware (pots and pans mostly)

I would not recommend circulon premier 'professional', the concentric ridges in the bottom of the drying pans might help distribute heat well and reduce amount of oil,
but they are difficult to clean and oil residue builds up at the base of of the ridges and will be the demise of the ones I have.
you can clean them with boiling water+soap and a non-scratch scrub whilst they are still hottish, but it is not 100% effective.
I think the real professioanls (except Raymond) are using pans more like what Pho shows.

Is anyone else disappointed with circulon ?
