Those Phantom 780's have gone up £20 and erm so has the cpu

The 780s in the original build are now the same price as the new ones you've linked Ethermaster so I'm assuming they are better and will swap them in, thank you both.

I read on this forum people saying the 290's include mantle support so are favoured over the 780's - I don't have the knowledge to know either way but the 290s feature heavily in many of the other basket specs posted.

At the risk of sounding like an Nvida fanboy (I'm not btw I just go by the current stats and my knowledge) Mantle is just an API (Application Protocol Interface) it shouldn't require any specify hardware like PhysX does so in the long run Nvidia may have to pay royals to AMD to use it with there current cards but there is nothing stopping them as its a software solution.

Ok if the op was to buy before 9\10am as thats when the new this week only offers start(well unless ocuk staff are taking the day off).

Edit: well it seems they changed the GPU prices earlier than usual so this weeks 'this week only' GPUs were put up yesterday, therefor the MSI 780 will be on offer till next week rather than being removed today as I originally thought.

The spec redone with the new prices and the HDD removed as you will be using the current one

you could use that MSI lightning which is an epic card and stupid fast but its yellow and doesn't match the theme that your going for ..... you could always just paint the yellow bits orange tho if you felt that you could do a good job of it
