How do I get this off before Mrs Dimple comes home?

Olive oil, anchovies, garlic, capers, olives, tuna, basil, oregano and some pepper. Whiz it all up in a food processor then add to about 700 grams of passata. Cook it off in a large pan, while boiling your pasta in another. Spaghetti works well. Then, drain the pasta and add to the other pan. Serve with crusty bread and parmesan shavings.

Sorry, did you say superglue or puttanesca?

A few years ago my ex-wife was using one of those cheap superglue tubes you 10 of in a pack at Poundland. The nozzle was blocked and as she squeezed the pressure built until it popped and the glue went into her eyes. Cue much freaking out as she thought she'd blinded herself. A very calm and collected A&E doctor just got me to get a can of coke, poured it into her eyes and, hey presto, it dissolved the glue. Sight restored, very relieved people.
Now, before you go pouring coke on your table you might want to think about what that will do to your table. I take no responsibility if it damages the table further. :)

I'd try water, ethanol, white spirits, acetone in that order. Acetone might eat the varnish.

That is well worth knowing, cheers

Kick your front door down and claim some one came in and vandalised your table so spray some extra super glue around the place...

I've done this exact thing, when I put the glue on the table so I could unstick my fingers, and I got it off with acetone and diet coke using cotton wool buds to just clean the superglue only.

That's the good news - the bad news ...

It took me the best part of 2 hrs!
