Need to get the tops of to identify the leaking glands or washers so I can replace them. Normally there's a little flip up that reveals a screw that you undo to get at the glands but not present. The whole top also appears to be a solid unit so the dome doesn't unscrew from the base, unless it's seized. I don't really want to pay £100 for a plumber callout as changing the glands is generally a two minute DIY job. Any thoughts or suggestions welcome.

Use a photo of the taps to do a "search by image" on Google. Hopefully you'll get a match and then you'll know the manufacturer and can ask them.

Initial thoughts are the top cap and it's tight/gunked up, or when they're closed continue tightening them to see if they unscrew?

Would suspect it screws off

The silicon behind the taps also needs work, you may have water going behind the tub there causing damage

All attempts to unscrew the cap have failed, so it looks like it's a plumber to put two new taps on.

And yes, redoing the sealant around the bathtub is on my ever increasing list of DIY manjobs to do!

Does the dome bit above the top gold ring not unscrew separately?

I would hold the section with the gold rings with plumber's grips, then stick on some gorilla tape to the top dome, and see if it can be unscrewed.
