help needed badly i feel like a noob again

Just to note, i've used Avast for 2 or so years, and give it to users when they bring in a home PC for us to look at.

That was just a dead/dieing/unseated graphics card, Avast being installed is just coincidental. Much in the same way if you work in IT you'll forever be told "Well my keyboard worked fine, but then when you installed that printer last week it started going dodgy."
 
Sorry to bump my old thread but didnt see the point off making a new one
Right what I have fiqure out is that bios doesn't work with the power conneted to the gpu and on loads up bios when its disconnected and running a lead from the motherboard
With the gpu power plugged "hdmi" in it just boots up straight to start screen

Ive read somewhere its something to do with settings in bios and the pci slots
On another hand ive seen that I need to turn off onboard graphics in bios

Can anyone shed some light
