Help needed choosing SSD.

Hi.

I have an msi k9n neo v3 motherboard and am looking to upgrade my hard drive to a solid state one. I've been given different advice regarding SATA2 and SATA3 compatability. Are they both compatible and is that what i have. Also is this motherboard anygood and worth installing a SSD on?

Any help would be appreciated.

even sata 2 will give you fast speeds for an SSD.

Go for either a

Intel
Sansung 830
Crucial M4

there the best

Sata3 is backward compatible with Sata2 but because your motherboard is sata2 you will only get Sata2 speed.

go for the M4 it is fantastic and upgrading the firmware is a doddle as well
