help needed new pc build wont boot

hi thanks i did the jumpers it sorted it out but i got a difeerent problem. it says overclocking failed. i didnt even overclock then it says cmos failed and setup in bios. ive sorted that out but now my windows wont load so i tried installing my windows again but when i try to install it it says drive c cannot be formatted this may be due to the disk damaged or not connected properly it says check the scsi connection or something. :confused: i m confused now
 
ram is 400mhz x2 so what cpuz is showing is correct. Cpu speed is probably showing lower than its maximum because of speedstep. Look at cpuz when running tat or orthos. It should go up to 1.8 ghz.
 
If this is the same motherboard that was sent back to from overclockers when you fried the board the 2nd time, then I would say that damage was done to the mobo and now the mobo is not stable enough and is now giving you all these problems.

You may have to change the mobo to a new board to get the system stable.

parmz_11: Just my opinion mate, but while you are waiting for the dosh to get a new mainboard, do a lot of reading on the internet. There are loads of sites where there are reviews and build reports to tell you all need to know about putting a new pc together ( and what pitfalls to avoid!!!) Mistakes in this game can be expensive (as you have found) but with a little common sense and the nouse to find out what you need to know FIRST, it ain't rocket science :p

hi before buying this i researched for 6 months looked at the overclockers a million times. as i was saving for it, but this happened cuz of carelessness. now becasue of that my motherboard wont overclock.
 
Please keep us informed of your continuing progress. I can hardly wait until you start setting up your water cooling.

dont run the ez cool 550 *** psu down.
i run it with 4 gig ram 8800gts and athlon x2 4000
runs fine np at all
36amps on 12v
ive been runnin my rig for a while no problems
u guys need to stop makin money for the fukin companies when u dont need half of *** u say its ********.theres nothing wrong with the ez cool if ure short for money.retards

Good god! I can only imagine what will happen when he trys to overclock :eek:

Please please please do lots of reading on overclocking before you blow your CPU up. :rolleyes:

6 months of research? I dont think so. :)
 
He's simply commenting on the fact that if you researched for 6months and made this many mistakes, maybe you should work harder on your research in future.

After all, screwing the motherboard into the case is a bit of a dummy mistake.
