Help needed with Freesync upgrade

ive had the Fury Strix since release so i suppose it can be classed as an old card but i am more into stability that top line fps as the game i mostly play does not need it.

This monitor for me has gave me an excellent upgrade for my current setup and future proofed my next gpu upgrade .

Well I just went for 57-144MHz mod :D , working great so far :D , LFC also work so FS is working <57 FPS :) .

Cheers :D .

FRTC in "Gaming > Global" will cap everything loaded on GPU regardless if you have a profile set in just "Gaming" or not :) . Be aware if you set the "Global" FTRC cap, then even if you disable it in a "Gaming > Profile" for an app the global FTRC will overide it ;) . I prefer to keep "Gaming > Global" FRTC off and set up profiles for apps :) .

When researching what value of FRTC to set, I read people recommend setting it slightly below the Hz. So say our stock FS range max Hz is 90, you'd set 85 (or upto 89) FTRC value, as people say it's like +/- (x) from set value. I was originally using 85 but did also use 88 for a while.
