Hi all, its been a while since I have looked advice and in hope someone maybe able to help.

I have built countless systems for personal and business use but today I have build my 1st Ryzen system as AM3+ seems to be phasing out.

The issue I have is am not getting a display at all when the system boots up. The TV detects a signal for a second as it makes the detection sound but says there is no source, as if nothing was plugged in.
When I turn the system off by holding down the power button the TV makes the same connection sound.

At first I was using the HDMI port on the motherboard but I read that the Ryzen CPU's do not have built in graphics (not sure there would be connections on the mobo if that was the case)
So I used the Nvidea card from my computer. Still no luck.

I have tried different DIMM slots, clearing Cmos, removing the battery. Took the CPU out to check the pins.
Everything is how it should be...
So I am at a complete loss. Could I me unlucky and have a bad RAM stick? All other systems in the house are DDR3 so I can not check.

System spec is
AMD Ryzen 3 2200G VEGA Graphics AM4 CPU
Gigabyte GA-AB350M-Gaming 3 AMD B350
Kingston Fury Red 8GB (1x8GB) DDR4 PC4-19200C15 2400MHz Single Channel Module
Corsair CX550m PSU

Thanks
Paul

That's the new Ryzen CPU which DOES have integrated Graphics on, however you need to flash the BIOS with another RYZEN CPU and a GPU for it to work, You can contact AMD to send you a flash kit which will sort the Motherboard out and then you return the Kit to AMD

Thanks for the reply... What a ball ache! I will contact overclockers 1st and see what they can do. I asked them if this all all work together.

Hello all,

I have been away for a few days... If you need to me help just let me know.

I also have similar with a GA-AB350-Gaming 3 motherboard. I emailed you couple of days ago on the email in other thread, but I guess you've been away

Oh you did! I don't seem to have the mail, terribly sorry. Could I ask any one that needs a BIOS flash to e-mail the [email protected] address gain.. Just need the serial number, model name and contact number. I will then get the RMA team to collect your board, flash and send it back.

If they're sending a CPU out to flash the board, doesn't that mean you need a GPU to flash the board too?

Afterwards you can use the on-chip GPU.

(OK collecting & returning the boards flashed makes more sense now)
