I had exactly the same problem 3 months ago, when re-assembling my rig after RMAing my mobo. Spent hours stressing over it, then it turn's out I've forgotten to connect the 8-pin to the mobo
What GPU have you got?
Finally this is the cable I'm using from the monitor to the GPU - it's the right one isnt it?
Yes, and could you confirm if you have tried the other monitor connector (other DVI output on the gfx card) on the gfx card?
Both the same, it just says "Check Signal Cable - Analog" on the monitor.
Analogue input is for the blue (VGA cable only) the white DVI cable is sending a digital input - you need to change the input channel on the monitor to Digital!
Has it turned on again yet? I wish you luck!
Cycle through all the input channels...still nothing?
Have you tried disconnecting all non essential hardware so you're just running cpu, 1 stick of memory, gfx?
Also, was the monitor part of the new build and do you have another you could try or at least a different cable?
Not sure what power connectors your gfx card will have, but do you have it connected?
Eiether pci-e 6 or molex

What parts should I try disconnecting?
I've had the monitor about 2 months connected to the laptop via analogue it has worked fine.
No I dont have a DVI to analogue adapter.
Normally XFX cards come with a DVI - VGA adapter...
I forgot to ask - do you get the post beep?
And this:
:/
Are you running a stripped down rig now?
