HELP - New build wont turn on.

Not good, it's not a monitor/cable issue then.

Did you say it shut down just unexpectedly earlier? Perhaps your block is not seated properly, the CPU is reaching very high temps and so your mobo is refusing to POST...

Yes, I thought I got my H50 to seat properly, should I try the stock cooler?

Could you list your entire spec details.

Also, try a different stick of memory and if that fails try a different slot.

Normally there are 3 green/red LEDs on XFX cards, and these light up when there is a problem with a certain number of them lit up in accordance to the problem. They are normally labelled something along the lines of D601, D602 and D603. Are you able to see which light up if there are any?

While your busy swapping memory do you have a spare gfx card to test or PSU?

Also, when your running the skeleton setup be sure to disconnect all the SATA cables and other cables of devices that have been disconnected.

What to do mate. Take out all of the motherboard connectors (24pin and 8 pin). Take out the gpu power connectors (2 x 6pin). Take out all of the ram then put 1 stick in the first slot on your motherboard. With the h50, you will see a 3 or 4 pin for the pump it self, put then into your fan header and make sure its on, and wills ee a 3 or 4 pin fan header on the fan. Make sure its on the motherboard.
Put all of the power connectors onto the mother board and on the gpu, fire her up and report back 2 us fella :D

I'll try another graphics card tommorow, got an ATI X1600 pro downstairs thats analogue.

I cant see any green lights on the graphics card.

Last thing, the dvi connector on the monitor it self, take it out then put it back and make sure you screw it down to the monitor. Do the saem thing will the gpu :)

Ive re-done it and it sounds like thw H50 is making some more noise, like water spashes. No display even now tho..

EDIT: This is very odd, I took the DVI cable out of the back of the gfx card, and one of the screws came out of the back of the gfx adaptor thing.

Also, I think it could be the graphics card, I'll have to try my old one tommorow.
