HELP! New Q6600 has no pins!

I love it this was round, ever since i had to change my 939 motherboard (iv fried several southbridges for bad pc positioning) and my lovely opteron 148 was still attached to the cooler... I managed to bend 40 odd pins dow one side (i put the heat sink down on its side n it had the curtesy to roll...) i was impressed that the pins bent back into place (just) but i havnt the heart to take it out the motherboard to see if they are all still attached.

Moral or the story pins are best on the board.
