Help on partitioning please

Hey guys i need some help on partitioning my 750gig WD hdd.

Basically i know that the two end of the drive (start and end) are good for one thing and the middle is good for another.
Does anyone have the information for what each is good for?

Also iw ould liuke to know on HOW to partition the HDD in order to get a start partion and end partionion and a middle partiition as im sure you all know windows xp instyall only lets you create a partiition but not specify where on the drive.

Just to let you know that the WD 750GIG has the new perdendicular recording method

Some HTDtach benchies would be nice to see if possible.

Windows XP's setup creates partitions from the start of the disk. So the simplest way to do it is to create yourself a single partition initially of whatever size you want the first partition to be, then install onto that. Then just create the other partitions from within windows, once installed.
