HELP please pc wont boot after new card fitted

Mate you MUST connect both the 8 pin connectors to the GPU. It wont work otherwise.

Is the PSU this one? If so, go get the extensions for the other 8pin connector. (I believe the red ones on the pic/video bellow).

Its an older version to that one and the card only has one 8 pin connector on it so surly the 6+2 should be enough or am i missing something?

Thats the Devil, he has the Dragon..

Have you uninstalled the Nvidia drivers first? You might need to use DDU aswell for a clean uninstall/install.

I had similar to this with an RX480 but the fan span at 100%, and recieved a lot of really good advice from this place, and the psu forum too.
Tried everything and it turned out to be a knackered card after all, so if you can try the card in another machine I'd deffo recommend that before you get too carried away maching changes to your machine!

Ok all sorted it was the bios and all fixed after flashing and updating mother board and the new card is now up and running a big thank you to all that helped and had input THANK YOU :) :) :)
