Not sure whats happened frankly, was just moving the system into a new case and it all looks fine, but when i press the power button everything just sort of flickers into life for a micro second then nothing, i notice that there are some LED's on the motherboard for SB over voltage, but its an overclocked system and nothing has actually changed so this shouldnt be an issue

Really stumped here

Thaanks

Shorting on the new case, double check all power connections are tight.

Worst case try a CMOS reset.

Your motherboard could be touching something metal, check all screws on the board.

Clearing the CMOS you can remove the battery, make sure the mains is switched off or short the jumper on the board for a few seconds.

Some basics but motherboard standoffs all in? RAM seated properly and all the psu connections to the motherboard and graphics attached and double checked to be in all the way. Then try taking the CMOS battery out as suggested and remember to unplug the psu from the wall and leave it for a few minutes, you will lose your OC but it should be saved in a BIOS profile.

didnt work out what it was, just took the whole thing apart and put it back together - fine this time. Want to make sure temperatures are okay in the case (define XL), whats a decent temp program?

RealTemp is a favourite is mine. It monitors all cores as well as the GPU all in one screen. But you could use CoreTemp, Speedfan or OCCT also.
