Test the card and pay the money if it works. That's a big if but so what? If he's a true friend then it will be nice to see him so it won't be a waste of a journey. I've traveled further to visit friends and there wasn't an incentive of a GPU needed.

However, if he's not really a close friend then the GPU can't be trusted anyway.

Just think: Why would he sell to you for £150? if you are not even his friend.. if he can sell for more elsewhere? He can even take to that shop that buys a lot of stuff and get like £500 or more for it.

I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole.....how much is your train fare???? also you have no way of knowing its working, plus if you get there and it smells burnt, you've wasted 7 hour round trip and the cost of your fare too!

Like people have said, who in their right mind is going to sell a 3060, for £150, when they can sell it in a second hand store for loads more?? also eBay even with fees and P&P will be a lot better to sell it.

Too good to be true, don't waste you time and train fare on this really really suspect card and really suspect deal.
