Hi there

I've just built a newpc, i originally did a test boot and it worked and showed the BIOS so i proceeded to install the components into the case. Once it was in the case i added a 120mm AIO CPU cooler which also runs as the lights are on and can hear the pump and has been installed correctly and a HDD, everything else was test booted. I know that the HDD works as it was from my previous build.

Components are:
AMD Ryzen 2600x
MSI B350M Gaming Pro
G Skill V Series DDR4 8GB
MSI GTX 1080 Gaming X
EVGA G650

It all turns on in the case and all the lights come on for the specific components but the 'EZ DEBUG LEDS' are showing that the CPU & RAM are either not detected or failed according to the manual but surely this cannot be the case if it has already posted?

Thank you some help would be greatly appreciated

i had an aio liquid cooler backplate short out the motherboard pins on the metal plate that goes on the back
a few months ago, the legs on the back of the motherboard were long enough to penetrate the seal and short
on the plate.

Hi Wakadoo, it's just the stock AMD backplate on the board so i assume this would be okay?

its always worth a check, the last thing you did seems to have caused a problem.

1 check the cooler
2 make sure a motherboard stand off is not in the wrong place after fitting the board in the case
3 is the cpu fan on the correct header.

Sounds like a short or issue with something you have plugged in, remove everything and start from beginning again.
Hopefully you have not shorted anything causing a fatal issue.
