Help Ryan fight his cancer

Love the way you say you've got 2 litres of fluid in your lung as if it's just a minor inconvenience. You've got a pair of stones on you man!

I have over 2 litres of fluid in my left lung so hoping to get that drained this week locally. I'll be able to breathe a bit better after that.

You're an absolute trooper mate

I completely agree.

Is this you? @Ryan0r

hope once the fluid is drained things get a little easier for you.

all the best

Missed this thread until now but so great to see the community pull together for such a good cause

Best wishes to both Ryan and Xez

Hi all,

I'm sorry to be the one to have to say this but I've just had a text from Ryans friend in hospital. Things have taken a turn for the worst for him, he's in hospital and unfortunately there's nothing more they can do for him, and the doctors have given him another two or three days to live. Devastating news, I had the pleasure of meeting him for lunch a couple of months ago and he's genuinely a lovely and very interesting guy, horrible news.

He thanks everyone for what they've done for him here, he was in tears when he found out what we'd done and it's inspirational what this community can do for each other when we all come together for a good cause, it will go to good use. Thanks @Freefaller for sorting the donation page out.

I'm not sure what else to say, I'm still in shock.

Terrible news. I'm so sorry to hear it. Still wishing you the best Ryan and hoping for a miracle of some sort :(

Really didn't want to read that when I saw the thread appear at the top of the index :(

Here's hoping that Ryan has some form of comfort, dignity and privacy in his final days. Can't be easy to be on the palliative care ward knowing you don't have long left but I wish him the best and my thoughts go out to his family.
