Many Grammar nazis on this forum,Its kind of getting boring with people bringing it up to be honest when someones asking for help on a subject and they dont help about the actual problem but are sure to discuss Grammer.....

There is a special place in hell reserved for those who use "should/could have" instead of "should/could have".

Whilst I agree in principle I think it's down to the contraction 'could've' - people hear it as could have and don't think about it.

It's not as frustrating to me as 'I could care less'.

The overall standard of English here is much higher than the national average, I'd say. Still, it's quite a long way from perfect. Hardly anyone writes perfectly all of the time.

Irregardless.

//Crap English is great for judging people. If I'm losing an argument against someone and have no grounds to back up my points, I can often console myself in the fact that they said "should have" when they should've said "should've" or "should have" which usually means that they are mentally inferior to me in every way :p

Andi.

No place/person/event etc has improved my spelling & grammar more than this place. I know it's never perfect but I would at least hope people can see that I try. :)
