Oops yes did not notice SLI ready boards will be changing motherboard probably to the ASUS crosshair.

Will need to think about Intel I think when AMD roll out new processers in Easter I would be ready for an upgrade when the price drops.

If that is the case, Intel would have their quad cores and other processors coming out too. So my best bet is to stick with intel.

Yeah stick with intel, much better atm. E6600 is your best bet.

Go for the corsair PSU like said before, much more stable. Other than that looks great.

hmm an expensive processor with a cheapo M2V?? Not an overclocker I assume??

Like others said for that kinda money I'd go C2D, if you want AMD then that's fine too just get a X2 3800 with a decent mobo and you should be able to oc to 2.6Ghz+ no probs, saves you a lot of money.

There is nothing wrong with Seasonic at all it's just as stable if not better, but the corsair 620W is a lot better value for money.

I may try my hand at a modest overclock my priority was a quite system but it seems like if I do overclock then I would be as well going with c2d.

I will have to check up on INTEL systems a bit thanks for advice will save me on the long run.
