i do upload a lot of stuff daily for an online backup via ftp which can be hefty ..but i see you can lose on the download for the pro account on BE....dont need any frills..they say my line can take 16 megs...

You probably wouldn't get any worthwhile benefit from Annex M then, and you'll lose ~3Mbps from your downstream too.

you sure its as high as 3 megs loss?

YMMV, but that's what I gained getting Annex M (which added an entire 300kbps to the upstream) switched off...
