Help with 24 hour vet!

That is very sad news and my condolences, but learn from your mistakes, insure your pets people!

Really sorry to hear that Wayne, I thought that would be the outcome as soon as I read that it's back legs were going.

We lost our GSD in March 09, it's absolutely horrendous.

Cherish the good times and write down all the happy memories you have of your dog so you don't forget them, or they get overtaken by the distressing times at the end.

Best of luck.

Sorry to hear that the dog died, insure your pets people and find a decent vet (this is directed at the world at large)

Thanks everyone, I think my mam may of learnt her lesson, no more pets for her though I doubt.

On the subject, I'm wondering if anyone knows of any cheap vets in the Tyne & Wear area? Me and my partner have a Guinea Pig and we refuse to go to the same vet as the Dog was registered at as they are far too expensive.

Thanks in advance.

I know this is old and past but for future referance there are over 3500 vets in the UK and if you want to find one thats close by so should be cheaper for callouts

The use google maps zoom to your area type in Vet and watch the dots. failing that then this

Ive not read every post but if a vet refused to come out to see a very sick animal unless you paid £500 then they need reporting.
