Hi,
An old laptop has died and i want to use the internal 2.5" HDD as an external HDD for the new laptop.
I brought an adapter cable, SATA to USB, but this does not fit.
The 2.5" HDD does not have the standard SATA power and connectors. I have attached a photo of the HDD and the adapter cable I purchased.
I have built a few P.C's so i have only seen the normal SATA connections on 3.5" HDDs, even my SSD has normal SATA connections.
Is there a specific connector for this type of HDD?
Thanks
