Does this mean the drive is automatically configured to run in Raid 0?

Or do you still need 2 of these for Raid 0 ,a little confussed?

No, you'd still need to configure it for RAID - just means it's optimised for RAID arrays.

I've not checked prices, but you'll probably be better off looking at mainstream drives as it will likely cost less - and will be exactly the same to set up.
